Eana emerged as a way for me to channel my creativity amid the pandemic. My journey with jewelry making, however, began years before, exploring clay jewelry as a teenager. Over the years, creating jewelry became my therapy, and a joyful expression of my love for art and my community. Each piece I craft is a celebration of these inspirations and a testament to the beauty that surrounds us.
My first pieces of jewelry were gifted to me at a young age, fostering a deep appreciation for expression through fashion. Like many in my community, my ears were pierced and adorned with my first set of earrings alongside a custom name bracelet as an infant. These early experiences instilled in me a love for adornment and a sense of identity. From then on, I always reached for a pair of earrings to complete my outfit, making jewelry an essential part of my daily life and a powerful form of self-expression. This early exposure instilled in me a passion for creating beautiful pieces that celebrate individuality and cultural heritage.
